Your first Umrah should begin with a clear plan. Use this guide to compare what you are being offered, prepare your questions and check official requirements before confirming your journey.
Start with your family’s needs
- Agree on a departure city, travel month and a realistic budget for everyone travelling.
- Discuss walking comfort, luggage and room sharing before choosing a package. Ask the operator about suitable arrangements rather than assuming a tier covers every need.
Compare the whole package, not its headline price
- Request named Makkah and Madinah hotels, number of nights, room occupancy and the walking route to the mosques.
- Compare Quad, Triple and Double prices on the same per-person basis. Ask which transfers, meals, visa assistance and Ziyarat visits are included.
Check your permitted travel route
- Use the official Nusuk information and the relevant visa authority to check the route that applies to your passport and circumstances.
- Confirm any permit and appointment requirements before travel. Do not assume Umrah arrangements also permit Hajj.
Prepare documents and a written quotation
- Ask for the final document checklist for your nationality and visa route; submit clear copies through the agreed secure channel.
- Before paying, obtain dates, inclusions, exclusions, total charges and cancellation terms in writing.
Questions to ask STT Holiday
- Can you compare available 15-day and 30-day options for our dates?
- What are the exact hotel names, distances, sharing prices and payment terms?
